Same stuff happened to me but with l20b studs. They sent me all short studs. No long.

Told me to keep them, they'd fix the F'up. Didn't have to do anything other then call them. It was nice.

To bad about the mess up tho. things are looking good I want to see this thing done. Ha

yeah sucks because these took a while to ship to me but its okay the guy at summit was nice and said he will take care of it so thats cool.

did some more work on the block today took the pan off to tap it and checked the bearings. actually looks like someone rebuilt it recently.

also looks like they went to the store for a gasket kit and came home with a large tube of permatex..........

I love new parts.

That cover turned out great, where do you work?

Thanks, i work for a company that repairs medical equipment like cast cutters, bone saw's, drill's ect.

i soaked the cover in a solvent tank and then sand blasted it with aluminum oxide. was going to buy a new one but pretty much looks new now.

That foam comes in the mounting kit. It helps insulate against all the noise those damn things have. The Walbro 255 inline/external is a loud mother fucker, especially when mounted to the car. It would resonate even louder with out that foam. Think of the foam as a Beer Coozie, that's practically the type of foam it is too.

PS. Not sure what you paid for this, but you can get the same exact thing on eBay for roughly $89 with shipping. Got mine in 2 days for my KA swap.

True. But when it come in a Walbro box, Has WALBRO scribed on it, has a P/N and "authentic looking" instructions I feel safe buying from ebay.

But that's for a another thread.

I like where the KA is going. Looking really good.

Took my head to a Machine shop to get the valves grinded and seated and head pressure checked and new valve stem seals, and i guess the (napa) machine shop did my resurface with a belt sander? and the new machine shop was like ur head is all wavy so they resurfaced it for free since i got screwed by the (napa)
