jeph
okay so today i tried the hub out. first of all it doesnt come with these 2 pins that turn the turn signal off after you straighten the wheel out i had to pull them out of the stock steering wheel. It site perfectly where i wanted it to. A problem that i found out i will run into is fitting the horn button in with the hub being soo slim the steering wheel nut takes up a lot of room. ill post pics when i get the sleeve for the horn button. datsunfreak
That seems like a bit of a design flaw... ^_^ Could always get a spacer? Or trim the shaft down a bit and use a slimmer nut... 1 Quote Link to comment
solo
Glad it fits good shit. I will be ordering one soon. 1 Quote Link to comment

jeph
Got alot of progress done today. Look at this mess!! Removed the battery tray A mans best friend if he owns a 510 1 Quote Link to comment
rusty12ver
The nrg hub was designed short so that it can be used with their quick release unit, to keep the wheel within reasonable arms length. If the quick release is used with the mono/personal hub, it puts the wheel closer to your chest and further away from the blinker switch. The q/r should clear the steering nut. 1 Quote Link to comment
jeph
got a little bit of work done on the engine bay started sanding and welding some holes shut. no wonder the steering was stiff... every single ball joint blown and steering box probably only has fluid on the outside of it.... Oh and also Yesterday was me and my girlfriends 5 years together and i asked her to marry me and she said yes  2 Quote Link to comment
