BeachKidd
I have 78' 620 kc and was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a quick release steering wheel setup. Can't seem to find one! Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
And you won't. No hubs made to do that for the 620. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
A friend in Vegas has one on his 620 & hes running a Grant wheel. I believe he bought the kit off Ebay & im %90 sure its made by a CO called NRG. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The answer is in previous Ratsun topic. See http://bit.ly/1hVhU0X But I suppose the Ratsun regulars will discuss it again here as they love old questions. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Datmo tried this not long ago. Every hub he got didn't work or fit. Quote Link to comment
risinsun51
Last resort option is a weld on steering wheel adapter with removable hub available at summit or jegs. But if you do go this route there's no turning back. Unless you change the steering colum ofcourse. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
But if you do go this route there's no turning back. Turning back is for pussies. B) Get one and make it happen. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I have 78' 620 kc and was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a quick release steering wheel setup. Can't seem to find one! Because you need two things, not one. As PCD said, get an NRG generic release... Then find a hub adapter that fits... And put the two together. It will move the steering wheel out a good bit, so how big a boy are ya? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
BTW, NRG does make a slimmer version, but it costs a good bit more and is a little fiddly to use... You'll also probably need a "flat" steering wheel, not a deep dish one, if you use the thicker quick release. Quote Link to comment
BlackBird620
I'm using NRG in my Kc whole setup. 3" deep dish and the bigger qd Quote Link to comment

DatMo
JUST DEALT WITH THIS AS FLAT SAID. Youll need a boss or MOMO hub and get a thin nrg quick release. Don't waste time with other options Quote Link to comment
DatMo
It's also very slim with a boss hub and a thin qr. I have a dish wheel and personally drive fine but I'm not you Quote Link to comment
