I think you could change the seal with it in the truck. The pitman arm bolt has to come off then draw the pitman arm off with a puller. Often there is a large C clip (use snap ring pliers) with a washer above that and then the seal. Tell the truth I've done the 620 box but can't remember for sure. Done a Ford Bronco, 280zx and a D21 Hardbody that were power steering. I removed the bolts on the top of the box and lifted the sector shaft up and out of the way, then pried the seal out. You might also drive a long screw up into the seal and pull it out with pliers just like an engine rear seal without removing the sector shaft. Grease the replacement seal and drift into place with a suitable size socket and replace the washer and C clip or snap ring. (whatever it's called) The pitman arm nut is tightened to 100 ft lbs. Don't worry about the spline lining up. It's made in such a way that it can only go on in four 90 degree positions and you won't be that far out.
