ok, so the basis of this post is to give some history on a car i had for a while and invite a newby to the party.

it all goes back to 1975 when grandpa dennis bought a b210 4 door. he took good care of it and after 35 years or so, he left it to his grandson denny. (who unfortunately knows nothing about cars)

with about 115k original miles it had been garaged most of the time, but we all know things tend to wear down, and both grandpa dennis and the b210 had seen better days.

jump a couple years and the car is on non-op, driven ( limping over hwy 17 ) from the S.F bay area to Carmel (Monterey Bay area) and parked in an underground parking structure. eventually nearing an impound, i get the call and arrange for some extra time, drive from Sac and tow it back home.

over the next year and a half, we went through the car to get it basically mechanically sound and clean it up. we eventually drove it back to the Bay Area to be reunited with Denny and his mom last weekend. they are very excited at having the car back and in pretty good shape.

that being said, i am a couple hours away and they will need some help eventually, as we all know a Datsun is never finished, and being a tight group, i know there are some bay area peeps that will be able to advise of local shops or moral support at the monthly meets and here on Ratsun.

so that lays out the general idea, i am trying to get him on the site and to the local bbq's and meets, and will get my pics together so we can prove it actually happened. late night after a double shift but wanted to at least get something started here. having a little trouble with pics but i will get some up for all you whores......i know if i dont you will call  :poop:

yep. i think that was when my son took it to a meet and met you. those rims ended up warping out the lug nut holes and are now on the side of the house. those were the original bumpers on there before we changed them out. i will continue with a recap of the "build" as i get my pics together.
