flatcat19
Like a remote filter kit? A remote kit will still use a sandwich plate. How else would it work? 1 Quote Link to comment

laotsu
AC in your oil pan? 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
For the best fit you need the smaller oil filter boss on the block. This is my Z22 block... The zx auto oil cooler adapter slips right on once that pipe is removed. Those four bolt holes allow you to 'clock' the adapter to tilt the filter. If not using any of these bolts I presume the center bolt will hold it in place. I haven't tried the zx adapter on a regular L block with the larger boss. I don't know if it will cover and seal on it??? Quote Link to comment
laotsu
I'm running AN fittings an oil thermostat and electric fan... might be overcooled? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It would take a lot to seriously over cool the oil. 1 Quote Link to comment
laotsu
Don't you think raking the oil filter forward like that will interfere with the alternator? Quote Link to comment

jimmy billy
Like this So what is the name brand of that part? Is that the zx auton and do you mean automatic when you say auto??? Where would i find it? Fittings i can do but that looks nice and is that on a L block? Quote Link to comment
laotsu
Oil cooler filter adapter comes on automatic 280Zx turbo... Only. The block it's on is the Z20s, argued to be the best l/z block for overboring. It has four bosses around the oil filter port which allow fitment of the adapter locating screw. Late l20 blocks and other z blocks have the bosses as well. You don't need the locating screw to hold on the adapter but it might spin without it. Quote Link to comment
