guyster
Finally got her down and ready for Nissanfest 2014, April 19. What a shitshow this has been ... Snapped both lower leaf spring seat nuts, then snapped the newly tapped bolt. Rear end rubbed hard at 2" lower, so had to mod the lowering blocks by 5/8" and gouge them out (again!) with a grinder. After cutting down the beautiful custom U-bolt$, I still needed to then sheer 1/8" off the inner fender lip and wheel well (prime, repaint) to avoid rubbing when a passenger is present (pesky, fat passengers). Front-end flare nuts defeated me. Took it to the shop (Tru-line in Seattle) ... They installed the King Racing progressive coils I had a friend Sherpa over from AUS in a suitcase. Alignment, and now ready to roll. Net, net... The car is lower by roughly 1 1/4" front and back. That little bit makes a big visual difference and the car handles great. And for good measure I added shark teeth to my mower. 1 Quote Link to comment
