New NGK wires and Accel coil cured all my starting issues. Found another an electric choke for the hitachi. (PO disconnected the choke) cured most of the idle issues on startup. Fabbed up a top for the air cleaner'. Had the air cleaner but with the bigger motor it didn't sit under the hood so well.

I think he lives in Riverside,he just sent me the pictures yesterday.

He seemed cool. He builds VWs. Said he had a 521 for about a week and sold it due to a paperwork issue.

Yea it was a little rough and there was a paperwork thing that was not up to snuff. I told him I will give him my truck for his VW vert.

Stripped the the shitty flacking black paint off the grill and trim. What pain in the ass that was.

Nice truck. Your classing it up good! I like the bucket seat (new ones of course) because the other CSI seats I think I saw on an episode last week. Nice wheels also. What is it with the right front fenders getting hit all the time? My truck has a large dent up there also. Welcome!!
