russaroll Posted March 23, 2014 Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 i'm swapping out the 4spd for a 5spd and i noticed that the gear that came out of the 4 is a bit shorter than the one that came with the 5. will this make a difference? could i just stuff the one out of my old 4spd into the 5spd? You have to do this to keep your speedometer accurate anyway because going from an 18 Blue to a 17 tooth Red will make it read 3MPH faster @ 50. Just punch out that roll pin and the pinion pulls out Quote Link to comment
