difrangia
Horsing around in the shop this morning; walked around the back of the NL and couldn't resist snapping a pic. The 100 year old walnut piano converted to a violin workbench provided a fitting backdrop for the little pickup. Design Masterpieces. The little 1200 Sport Truck has a name now. 'Mighty Mouse'. Had to pull the distributor a couple days ago. Early last week I was terrorizing the town and Mighty Mouse fell flat on his face. No spark!! A previous owner didn't do a very good job job at keeping the electrons separated from ground on the way to the points. Fabbed a couple of phenolic washers, cleanup, point set, & re-install and BINGO!! Ready to prowl the town again. When he gets a rebuild later this year, he's getting a non-matchbox electronic dizy with a GM module in the cab & under the dash. Life is good!! Steve Quote Link to comment
SS320
Good stuff Steve. Glad to hear Mighty Mouse is going again! Please keep us in the loop for the rebuild. Mine is due soon too, maybe next year. -Shane Quote Link to comment
