DatMo
So i bought this bad boy today. Paid a little too much. Needs a bit of work but I'm loving it for now. I only got one picture surprisingly. I need new spark plugs, something might be up with my right front wheel bearing. I need new window squegees, Steering wheel plastic bezel. Glove box only doesn't seem to close and stay closed. Pretty sure it's the wrong one? A bit of small rust spots. My plans are to either keep it this blue and shine it out, or orange. I'll put some flares, might paint the hood black. It's my dd so just aesthetics. maybe lower a little. A little background info. it has 135k. l20b 4 spd. new rotors and brakes from the po but I think he forgot to bleed his brakes. They suck for now. Overall, solid car. Good/fun daily. Here's the one pic i got, many more to come next weekend. 1 Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
your approval makes me believe this is a real good buy. haha Better than the other options you were looking at. You turned your 510 into a dope little whip. Can't wait to see what you do with this. So much potential with a 620. Even more considering you bought a 79. 1 Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Hurry up and lower that thing. Start researching D21 drop spindles and brakes as an upgrade. 1 Quote Link to comment
DatMo
Hurry up and lower that thing. Start researching D21 drop spindles and brakes as an upgrade. i want to lower it more than ANYTHING. but sadly i have to pay a lot of shit and i won't have ANY money. i cut so close to affording this thing. i can't buy much until about the next 2 months :( but I'll look into d21's and learn. then as soon as i can afford, I'm getting them and flaring. when my tax returns come, I get $150 that's straight to the truck. i hope spindles can be bought with that Quote Link to comment

DatMo
turns out the car has slotted rotors and discs up front. I hit a pothole and now i keep hearing some cracking in my suspension? I'm painting the bed liner and fixing up a few things here and there next week. anyone know what thread pitch the tranny is for a 620? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
anyone know what thread pitch the tranny is for a 620? The bolts that fasten the transmission to the engine have a thread pitch of 1.5. Quote Link to comment
DatMo
The bolts that fasten the transmission to the engine have a thread pitch of 1.5. this is my fault. i should have been more specific because i was asking for the thread pitch of the shifter. but that`s also helpful. DatMo
M8 1.25 didn`t fit.... ruined my shift knob plan :( Quote Link to comment
jastrunk97
Too small? If so then its a M10 Quote Link to comment
DatMo
I`ll see how the m10 works and hopefully my plan works nicely Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Why not measure the shifter threads? Or buy some 6-cent nuts and see which one fits? Quote Link to comment

Im not sure what i need and def need more research. I want to flare so bad. Quote Link to comment
