As long as they weren't 'seized' I had no excuse for NOT keeping them adjusted. And yeah they need constant attention, well you know what I mean. I kept extra rubber covers to keep the crap out too. Suntzuzuki Posted April 24, 2015 Report Share Posted April 24, 2015 My rear driver side wheel cylinder is stuck. I got the little Y bracket off, all four bolts of and the wheel cylinder is still stuck! Before I use the 4lb sledge again are there any tricks I'm missing?! These brakes have been such a PITA, I think it's a combination just being old and also cheap parts from the previous owner. This thread has helped tremendously. I went to Lowe's and got a 4lb sledge, but it only popped one of the drums! The adjusters are spun until they stopped spinning. I will get them off!! 1 Quote Link to comment
