Gradyfest
Every now and then I come across a tool that makes my life a lot easier......... Sometimes the tools are new to the market and others have been out for some time..... ............I get just a little frustrated inside when a tool I don't know about is out there and I don't realize it till after the job is done...... So........if there's a tool you own that makes any job easier please share.........could be BUILT or BOUGHT........ Just tryin' to share, following what this thread is about. My wrench fits perfect with the context and once again, show me a better adjustable wrench or a good reason to have "a little loose" fit on a fastener haters... 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Bustin your chops. Chill out. I gave you an excellent reason for my use of an adjustable wrench. I work for Toyota. The rear adjustment sleeves on Camry/Avalon, and the Lexus equivalents, get real bad with rust scale. If it works for you, great. Enjoy it. Keep pushing it. I use the Crescent brand wrenches. 2 12". 2 10". Also have a 6", an 8", and a 15". I really like them and they have yet to fail me. Better? Who knows? But those are what i use to keep making paychecks. 1 Quote Link to comment
Gradyfest
Bustin your chops. Chill out. I take a wire wheel or brush to any corroded fastener first, maybe second depending if I had to scrub brush grease/oil/whatever off it first. Making a clean tight connection with a seated or centered wrench is more important than who built the wrench partner. Doesn't matter if it's as minute as cleaning with a tooth brush or wire wheel dremel, the right way is the right way. I'm very chill, but now I'm busting your chops. I wouldn't let you wrench on anything if mine... With your loose ass wrenches like your girls. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
You missed something. It's tight when I'm turning the wrench. But I like to be able to loosen it quickly with the wheel. I can't really get a wire wheel inside the adjustment sleeves. Impossible. PB Blaster and/or heat. As a hobby, take your time. No stress on me. But you tell that to the 3 guys behind you waiting on the alignment rack or the 2 waiting customers who both want out before the other. I don't round off fasteners guy. Been at this a while and kinda really good at what I do. Quote Link to comment
Gradyfest
Ok man, cheers. Does anybody else have "kool tools" to look at besides this guy? Quote Link to comment

Draker
"Hang on, bro's. Just wire wheeling some nuts over here, before I align this piece." 3 Quote Link to comment
Draker
It's an interesting tool. I guess if I found a specific need for it, I'd buy it. Never seen one before. I generally use adjustable wrenches for big standard fasteners... cause aint no one got that shit laying around. 2 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
I'd use one for those times I've lost a damn wrench in the garage AGAIN! and I just want to do that thing or the other real quick without finding my stupid tools. I lose stuff often. I hate cleaning up my tools and I have a two year old in the garage with me a great deal. Quote Link to comment
Busta Nut
It's a good tool to have in your box...... .......I'd like to get one also..... I can't say that I would use it very often......... .........only scenario I can think of is busting those rusty EGR tube nuts..... ....they're usually pretty big (over an inch) and the bigger wrenches are tough to fit in some cars..... That's the first thing I thought of when i saw that...... Good Show Grady!! 1 Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
To have the non marring properties of a crescent wrench, but the clamping force of vice grips is a win in my book 2 Quote Link to comment
mrmark
This is my baby and I use it to crush convertible top cable ends. It can also crush a penny, if yer into that sort of thing. But it works really well on inner tie rod ends too. IMO, best adjustable wrench on the market. 2 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Grabbed one of these this week. Stupid LED already quit working, though...I'd rather it didn't have one than have one and die! 6 Quote Link to comment

fritzdixxon
What cordless drills have you had that you liked? My Sears Chinasman one needs replaced I have had really good luck with rigid drills, lifetime warranty but my 12v has been running solid for 13 years and I use it almost daily assembling furniture, taking doors off ect. The new 12 v ones I don't like as much wierd weight balance as the the batteries are in the handle not like a counterbalance on the bottom. Quote Link to comment
