So I was thinking about getting my seat redone, but after looking at it a little closer I thought it would be better to just get it replaced because the sliders were all cracked and it had been welded before but still was in pretty bad shape. I started looking for some options and I came across some Z3 BMW bucket seats on CL that were in perfect condition. Here is a couple of pics.

So once I got the seats I started looking at ways to get them mounted on to the truck since they are not a direct fit. I wanted to try to make it look as original as possible, so I talked to my friend Memo that is a pretty good when it come to modifying things. I went to Home Depot and bought some fence post. Here is a couple pics.

Once we got everything cut we put it in the truck and then had them welded on.

Once everything was cut and welded on I decided to paint the fence post to make it look like it was a original part of the truck. We also had to make some brackets in the front.

So, after putting my nice seats in I started putting in the seatbelts and I thought wait a minute these are too grungy looking for these seats, so I decided to sand them down and paint them the same color as the truck. Here are a couple of pics.

Once I got done with that I started on my door panels. I went down to our local upholstery shop and bought some door panel material, and suede upholstery black and burgundy. I also bought some chrome welt cord off ebay to separate the two. On the arm rest I decided to go with some stainless steel pull handles. I tried to keep it the same pattern that the original panels had. Here is a few pics on how it came out. Let me know what you think.
