damians
Hi; I own a 210 1980 datsun for about 12 years. It has never let me down. Recently I install a 32/36 weber and I'm having trouble making it run smooth. I dont know if the installation is correct. Please someone let me know what Im doing wrong. ericsb210
I don't know you level of expertise so please don't take offense. With that said the most common problems with Weber installation are as follows; 1: Base plate /adapter plate leaking vacuum. Answer-spray carb cleaner around base and see if idle increases....if so you have a leak. In my opinion the only adapter worth using is the high rise. 2: Jetted incorrectly for a A14/A15. Answer: refer to datsun1200.com they are a great source for accurate information. 3: Not tuned correctly after installation. Answer: refer to weber site. The most common problem is they are idling to lean and run to rich. Hope that helps Quote Link to comment
