D21 build project

Recommended Posts

Hi, i'm Doc. Been looking around for info on my 1987 Nissan D21, this was one of the first sites i've found for solid information and I became a member recently after I decided i'm going to start working on my truck. Some background on this truck -  It's (and i'm) from Arizona, and I bought it off some college kid for $800 bucks because the clutch was blown and there was no battery...after putting in a new clutch and battery she..ran. Not well, but ran. Drove the truck across country to NJ to stay for 6 months figuring i'd get rid of her once I leave, but now i'm liking the idea of restoration. Now it has 187xxx miles on it. Besides the clutch, I've slowly been putting new things in, shocks, fuel filter..ect. Now after reading these forums, i'm looking to go bigger and restore most of the truck and get some power into my engine. Before moding and building the engine up, I would like to put new brakes, suspension, and steering. I'll have more posted pictures soon; it's snowing here and the inter-webs get all slow when the weather acts up.
Thanks for having me seems like a solid group,
Adios~
Doc.
