This is from now on where I will post all things pertaining to my 210. Latest update: stole a seatbelt out of an '82 sentra (someone literally had a bonfire in the poor thing). Brought it home, expected an easy swap.. I discovered the seatbelt bolts mounted up, but that the wouldn't fit in the hole cut for the original seatbelt retractor.. So my dad and I cut a bigger hole and she is now in. In the near future are the following mods:

1. Tires

2. Suspension upgrades from 280zx

3. Heater control valve

4. Paint job

5. Drag link for steering

6. Valve cover gasket (and adjust valves)

7. Possibly a new head from a 1978 or before A series motor

8. find leak in rear brakes

I'll keep it updated with pictures and info. Thanks for reading.

If anyone sees an earlier model b210 or 1200 please let me know. I'm eventually gonna start looking for a 1970's b210 project.

Nice, make sure you look up push rod valve adjustments vs OHC adjustments. I can't remember the difference but the measurements are taken in different areas.

Unless you like the bench bumpers, get with datsunfreak and he can lead you in the right direction for either composite or metal reproduction JDM bumpers. Seems like the 210 got lucky in that respect.

Good luck with your build and keep searching for the B210. They are out there. My B210 sedan came from MS originally :P

Thanks!! I was hoping to get my hands on some nicer looking bumpers. Thanks for the advice. My dad knows his way around these things and where to find the info so the valve adjustments shouldn't be a deal. And thanks man, just glad to be keep the datsun name going. Can't tell you how many people have said, "my buddy had one of those!" Or "that was my first car!" So many people see these things and love them, they've just never heard of them or haven't seen them in years. I had a guy tell me his buddy in highschool had one, and him and his friends were out climbing muddy hills off-road in big fords and Chevys, but his friends 210 climbed right past them and left them in the mud! And this 210 came from an older lady in mobile, AL.

For those seeking help on a 210! The combo headlight/windshield wiper switch on the steering column from a 1980-82 720 fits on the 210 and gives you intermittent wipers. The radio is also the same. The mirrors are gonna require a little body work to eliminate old holes, rust, etc.. Was also pissed that I didn't have the Money to steal the weber carb FOR 25 BUCKS. Hoping to god it's still there in a few days.

I know all the elitist Datsun owners may be against this but, it would be cool to put 280z taillights in place of the stock 210.

Nah, just the custy old guys! XD

Hmm, the depending on year, stock 280zx might look really cool...if you could pull it off.
