isomswim
Most aftermarket tachs have 4-6-8cyl capabilities. If you don't want to spend on a factory tach the Sunpro SuperTach II fits the hole in your dash pretty well. There are Ac oriole of write ups on here somewhere. If you can find a factory tach it will probably come with the plug the mates directly to your dash harness and you'll be ready to go right away. Thanks. I dont mind changing up my gauges a little. I plan on eventually getting all new gauges anyways. Not that the old ones are nice I just like new toys and the 35yr old stuff is getting harder to replace. lol Quote Link to comment
isomswim
The PO had gotten some door window seals so I just got those pressed in. They were completely different than the original ones for my door panels so I am going to have to reconfigure those, fun, but shouldnt be to hard Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
Not sure how I missed this one, that is a super straight truck you got there. Nice score, excited to see the 720 carpet fitment. Quote Link to comment
isomswim
Fitting the rear carpet piece. I cut off 4" from the backend. I rolled the sides under I used a metal carpet eding to secure the carpet to the floor. Didnt want it slipping around too much. looks a little rough without any seats, but should look better with all the interior in place Fitted the front piece but its not secure or cut down yet. Should have the interior finished by next week, weather permitting 1 Quote Link to comment

isomswim
UPDATE Got the interior coming along as well as some engine work done. 720 carpet kit is all in and for the most part fits pretty well. Got the carpet molding all secured in aswell Both seats are also in with very little complication, just so glad they are in amazing shape Didnt get a picture with both in. Also didnt get a pic of the wire work mainly back in. Not sure if wipers are working, and lights might need new bulbs. Currently have no antifreeze in it and fuel lines disconnected but it does want to turn over so ignition works. But I am missing a wire on the ignition, post pics when I get to them. Carburetor is in and ready for new hoses. Everything seems to move with out interference. Quote Link to comment

isomswim
So great day outside for working on the truck. Got done: Take 2 on the door panels. got 1 almost finished. Straightened out door that was getting caught on latch. Removed intake manifold and Cracked exhaust manifold. Put in new door locks and new rear view mirror. Both from eBay and pretty good quality New Problems May have a coolant leak from manifold gasket being old as hell. Exahsut manifold was a b!tch to get off the downpipe so getting the new one on is going to be fun I keep procrastinating on my interior because of the wiring nightmare but hopefully I can get it finished tomorrow Quote Link to comment
isomswim
So I gotta lot of interior work done today. Take 2 on door panel So after all of my misfortune with cloth and foam I got this crazy idea to use duct tape to cover my panels. Found a camo skull pattern and it turned out pretty sick Fit is almost perfect Lastly finely got my back wall 100% finished Also for your viewing pleasure the abyss that is my exhaust manifold leak Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Do you already have another manifold? Quote Link to comment
