1981 datsun 4x4 motor conversion

This truck is my baby and the first motor blew up I had it rebuilt by power house motor sportS almost a year ago and it just recently blew up agin I was wonder what motors bolt up to my 4 speed tranny it has a z22 8 spark plugs I was wonder what I would have to do to put the z24 in it or a another motor that is more reliable cause it just can't handle what I put it through I keep it maintained the way ur supposed to and I keep blowing them up what can I do ??? I have over 5 thousand in this truck and almost done with it also how hard would it be to do a long travel suspension in the front without getting rid of the cv axels

you can do the KA swap (single or dual cam) that's popular and very reliable motors. It will bolt up to your napZ tranny (same bellhousing bolt pattern) and you wouldn't need to shorten your drive shaft. However, you will need the truck KA not the 240sx one, wiring harness, and ecm. Figuring out motor mounts is another whole story that ive  been struggling to figure out. good luck hope this helps.

Depends on what blown up means. These are tough little motors and as far as I'm concerned, keep them full of oil and water you can't blow them up. To blow up a rebuilt motor in a year? Figure out what you're doing or you'll just blow up a KA swap. So what do you use it for?
