I have over 5 thousand in this truck and almost done with it also how hard would it be to do a long travel suspension in the front without getting rid of the cv axels Quote Link to comment
filthy forever
you can do the KA swap (single or dual cam) that's popular and very reliable motors. It will bolt up to your napZ tranny (same bellhousing bolt pattern) and you wouldn't need to shorten your drive shaft. However, you will need the truck KA not the 240sx one, wiring harness, and ecm. Figuring out motor mounts is another whole story that ive been struggling to figure out. good luck hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
filthy forever
a guy over on infamous said he used the stock KA mount for the drivers side, and the drivers side Napz mount for the passangers side and it bolted in without modification, don't quote me on that though. Im in the process of seeing if that works for the 720 KA swap. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Depends on what blown up means. These are tough little motors and as far as I'm concerned, keep them full of oil and water you can't blow them up. To blow up a rebuilt motor in a year? Figure out what you're doing or you'll just blow up a KA swap. So what do you use it for? Quote Link to comment
Lakec423
It's my dd and I also woods ride with it has a blown head gasket for sure Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
A blown head gasket is fixable for about $30. This is not blown. A rod through the block is blown. 1 Quote Link to comment
