wayno
Isn't this a 4 speed on the column? Quote Link to comment
65L320
If it's "all original" then it should be a 4 speed. These seem to be going sky high? Quote Link to comment
wayno
If it's "all original" then it should be a 4 speed. These seem to be going sky high? That is what I was thinking also, and yes, everyone is asking a lot for these now days. Quote Link to comment
65L320
Has a few other non original parts too. It has a lot of work left for that kind of money, but I'm also a broke husband/dad. I do have a very nice 63 grill for it though ;) lol Quote Link to comment
72240z
Here on the east coast datsuns were made with gold lol Quote Link to comment
65L320
So do you think east coast L320s have jumped in price too? Quote Link to comment
72240z
I think any datsun sold on the east coast, the NE in particular, sells for a good 30%+ higher then actual market value. You can find deals, esp out in PA or up in Maine but still overall much higher. Quote Link to comment
joshotto94
Anyone wanna make a reasonable offer on this Quote Link to comment
72240z
Reasonable? Okay I'll offer 4k cash. Quote Link to comment
qwik510
Reasonable? Okay I'll offer 4k cash. That's what I was thinking too. I have not seen any Nice finished NL Projects selling for over $10K so one needing restoration will not likely fetch $8k. These trucks are gaining in popularity though. Values are up in the past 3 years and likely to continue to climb as the dollar continues to weaken. I hope someone buys this cool little truck. I need the temptation to go away. 65L320
There was an NL on eBay about 8 months ago. It was completely restored... Frame off, every nut and bolt was new or refurbished. It sold for just over $10k, just to give you an idea of what they have been going for. GLWS buddy. MIKE Quote Link to comment
66Fairlady
I have discussed the truck and price with Josh. It is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay BUT the truck is sound without too many mods and should be worth at least $6k at this time. And a good deal at that price! If mine, I would not sell it for less. Location is a problem as most buyers are on the West coast. At least $1500 in transport cost to CA. They are increasing in value. Get one now! The last 2 recent equivalent NL320s went for $5K and $6K. Ted. Quote Link to comment
72240z
Its pretty easy to just go around saying I saw one sell for this without actually showing an ad lol. Here is a recent sale on ebay for 5k, its clean, complete and running. Thats 5k on ebay too, minus fees and what not its more like $4500. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-Datsun-NL320-Pickup-/231117227323?item=231117227323&forcerrptr=true&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item35cfa9053b&nma=true&si=5yevDkYxlOouehP7m3eKnpmURDs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Here is a 10k example, its completely restored and so perfect I wouldnt even want to drive it around here...http://www.ebay.com/itm/NL320-Pickup-Vintage-Rare-Japanese-Original-Classic-Restored-Clean-One-of-a-Kind-/171135480830?item=171135480830&forcerrptr=true&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item27d87833fe&nma=true&si=5yevDkYxlOouehP7m3eKnpmURDs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 So based on proven sales 4k is a fair market value offer for whats shown in the OP link. 6k is ridiculous, but not as ridiculous as 8k I guess lol Quote Link to comment

qwik510
Might want to add a few more pics to that auction. You want $7k for a truck that needs paint and restoration and only show 3 pics of the body? Show pics of the rust prone areas to show how solid it is. Show the truck from all sides. Show the interior. eBay lets you post 24 pics for free. Put some time into it and you will get more out of it.. GLWS. 1 Quote Link to comment
