What a shame. I would have really liked to have gotten that car before it got hacked up. I e-mailed the original owner a couple of times, but I'm sure he just didn't want to deal with someone out of his state( I don't blame him )....still , I hope it's not that car.

I believe, this car belonged to Craig Smith. He had some health issues and want an automatic in his 1200 along with a small V8 or a 2JZ setup. He did a LOT of work to re-enforce the chassis. 2X3 .120 wall tubing.

 

He rebuilt the front suspension and steering, I bought and sold parts for this project. Sad that he isn't able to complete his project.

If some one was looking to do 20% engine set back even with an A series and a 5 speed would be fun car, and would have to fabricate a new firewall anyway-looks to be a very solid car

I don't mind people doing crazy stuff with a car, if they actually finish it. When they bail halfway it just seems like they ruined it? At least, it seems that way to anyone not looking to do the same thing they were doing and wanting a head start. But he certainly cut his potential pool of buyers in half (at best).
