ggzilla Posted April 1, 2015 Report Share Posted April 1, 2015 Adjusting the valves won't normally show "improvement", except maybe make it a little quieter. What problem are you trying to solve, what are the symptoms? When looking at #1 valve, it was so sloppy a good 1/4 gap. Probably a bent pushrod. If it was driven with a large gap making noise, the rocker & valve stem are damaged and adjusting the gap won't make it quiet. The damaged parts must be replaced. Quote Link to comment
