I'm going to try Techno Toy Tuning's (T3) setup.  I've heard good things about the Troy Ermish camber plates, but I already have the T3 camber plates on the shelf.

I've got everything T3 makes on the front of my wagon.  Love it.  I had Gabe at T3 weld the 280zx struts for coilovers and the only thing I have to say is that it drops it low.  It's at max high and the front sits right in line with the top of the tire.

I wouldn't say it's a complaint since that's right about where I wanted my front ride height, but for those who don't want to go too low, run 13's, etc. might have a problem with the T3 set up.  Maybe call Gabe and ask him to weld the retaining ring up higher or weld it on your own.  I'm super happy with them and if you're serious about going dumped, I could theoretically drop it another 4" if the exhaust didn't get in the way.

First off car specs, 72 510 4dr with ka24de.

I have the full ground control kit, (coil over sleeves, springs front camber plates rear coil covers) on 280zx fronts with koni adjustable inserts, futofab adjustable lca's and tension rods( the lca's and t.c. rods are not installed yet). I have has zero issues with anything, ride isn't harsh or bouncy, and it handles great.

How many lbs are your springs rated?

If you buy from T3, know you are supporting an outstanding business and a guy who quite literally stands behind his products and does not rush production to just sell stuff.
Gabe is very professional and has excellent business acumen.
I have a few small T3 parts and LOVE them, especially the swivel bearing top hats.
Will be getting the T3 T/C rods shortly.

Just wondering and completely off topic (kinda, but IDGAD)

What GOOD adjustable shock inserts are still available for the 79-83 ZX struts?

I cant find anything easily that is priced right and new...

Try KYB AGX.  I'm not sure if they have a set for the 280zx...  I just bought the AGX MR2 insert for my shortened 280zx struts.  THMotorsports had them for $80 each with free shipping!! (Even to Alaska!!)

The pic is incorrect, but I've seen that error a lot.

It's purely a matter of personal opinion.  If you order a set of T3 coilovers, you can request whatever springs you want.  Lets say you order 200# springs to start with (200# seems to be the average consensus, so probably a good starting point).  If you don't like the ride, check out Summit Racing.  They have springs you can order for $38 each.  You can get softer or firmer springs.
