125 CSL
http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1111198_why-does-volkswagen-have-a-water-cooled-exhaust Why does Volkswagen have a water-cooled exhaust Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I saw this before and not one thing he says makes any sense other than it warms up faster. VW can keep it, I doubt I will be buying one. Maybe this is BS just like those fake emissions passing engines fiasco. Quote Link to comment
heywier427
This engine with stock internals is making +/- 700hp. Watched it being dyno'd a few weeks ago. And because of the stock turbo temps being so cool, it just would not over spin. It was at 36psi before efficiency went to total crap. Made in the 450's with upped injectors and stock turbo. Vw finally made a head that flows almost as good as any honda! Its a pretty good design, and the additional heat introduced into the cooling system is nill, as the radiator for the mk6 is the same as the mk7. Quote Link to comment
