Well I returned home after being gone a month and one of my furry wild friends came up begging for some food. I know he is only my friend because I have a handful of sunflower seeds, but some critter that ran away from me in fear at the beginning of the summer now runs up and jumps in my hand is pretty cool. Especially having a brain smaller than a blueberry.

I have rounded up and deported (maybe sent to another location is more correct) 11 chipmunks this year, and there are still 2 or 3 around my yard all the time.  I guess those in other yards see an opening and move in.  I have a small squirrel now too, which I didn't have before.  The chipmunks are easy to trap.
