tangent Posted May 15, 2007 Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 So the front end of my 521 is going back together after the Disc Brake conversion, all new tie-rods, bushings, kingpins, idler arm, centerlink, all that Jazz, and the Datsun 521 book I have simply states "Optical Equipment is necessary for proper setting of Toe In... YADA YADA YADA..." Could someone offer me some specs on the Toe In... I can use a couple of straitedges and a tape.. just need an Idea of what is correct. 18 inch wheels 245/45/r18 tires Torsion Bars Cranked down nearly all the way, but not re-indexed. Thanks... If I can get it where it needs to be I wont have to worry about some yahoo at the alignment place, messin with my work.;) Quote Link to comment

Glengemen Posted May 22, 2007 Report Share Posted May 22, 2007 Realistically it is all about how you drive your truck. If you want it to grip and corner give it a lot of negitive camber, positive caster, and just a little toe in( about 1/16"). For just driving you will want less than a full degree of negitive camber, neutral caster, and a bit more toe in than I said before(1/8"-3/16"). Quote Link to comment
