datzenmike
The slave does not need to be drained. Unbolt from the current transmission and tie to the torsion bar out of the way. It will bolt onto the 720 5 speed. Duct tape the pushrod so it doesn't fall out on the ground. 1 Quote Link to comment

bluebird4200
Thank you! I bought the Goferit inserts, but when I was comparing the centerlink ends to the taper on the inserts they seemed to be a little loose, and possibly the taper was not correct. I am using the same theory as Goferit, but the machine shop I am using is making new inserts with the correct tolerance and taper to fit my New / old stock made in Japan centerlink and side ends that I purchased off of Ebay. My parts should be ready for pick up by Friday. I am still waiting on the side ends to show up through the mail which may take a couple of weeks as they will have to pass through customs. Hopefully having all new OEM parts will fix the minor slop in steering that the old original parts had. 1 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
How much is the machine shop charging? Would they be willing to make more? Quote Link to comment
bluebird4200
$60 a little more than the Goferits, but they are being made to Made in japan oem parts. I could get more made. 1 Quote Link to comment
bluebird4200
I bought a can am box a couple months ago and now ready to use it, but I cannot remember where I saw the wiring diagram for the ka24de swap. Could someone please send me the link if you know where it is at? 1 Quote Link to comment

bluebird4200
Sweet, thanks man! As for my steering issue.... I received all of my new linkage and went to install it today. My machinist made our flip spacers with out the hat like the goferit's have which in my opinion is the only reason that you guys who used goferits have the oil pan clearance in respective to your center links. Unfortunately we think that the taper is off in respects to the goferit flip spacers over the Datsun tie rod ends( taper being off kept me from finishing the installation using them).Luckily we didn't weld the spacers in before the test fit. ]2eDeYe
I didn't use any inserts, I had my arms welded up and re tapered. I did have to clearance the pan a smidge though, it didn't touch, but I was worried it might when driving and everything shifts a bit. Quote Link to comment
bluebird4200
So do you feel it when driving? Steering on the oil pan drag while driving is what I mean? Quote Link to comment
bluebird4200
Hopefully I get enough clearance from the oil pan now that these parts have been fabricated. Quote Link to comment
