kitchnz
Thanks for your positive comments guys! Bit of assembly work on the front end. Still need to repaint the grill & polish the number plate backing and fit up etc looks pretty tidy. Would like to get my hands on some more NOS chrome trim, have not got time or money to track down at present. 1 Quote Link to comment

CGS1948
and in last few days, after 8 years being in primer, it is finally back in lush original red! apparently looks amazing (I agree looking at photos) however I am not allowed to see it until the weekend, after it has been polished up and panels refitted - I can't wait! Now THIS is the way to do a Datsun 1200 Coupe or sedan!!! 1 Quote Link to comment

KELMO
Man I dig stopping in here. I have very similar mirrors and had to "update" the way they mounted. Once installed, they wiggled like they were loose but there was no way to get the nut any tighter......couple fender washers at the bottom of the tension spring.......fixed. Quote Link to comment
Ranman72
I am interested in those tail lights if you find new ones I would like to get the amber lenses Quote Link to comment
kitchnz
well had a bit of motivation, and worked till midnight last two nights.Getting pretty close now interior wise, next mission is dash assembly & wee bit of wiring after I fit front carpets.Fitted up rear bumper with NOS end caps, need to make up new outer mount tabs stillFinished making my 'fixed position' seat rails for the front, so cut/drilled & painted them tonight & mounted the Z seats up, pretty stoked, I think they look sweet. pretty happy with alignment & clearances and sit angles etc, they finish nicely next to the wee trim trays that run next to sillsFitted up heater box & centre console (with NOS boot & knob) 3 Quote Link to comment
