I am considering painting my truck myself with PlastiDip in yellow or blue. My black primer job I did a couple of years ago now is chalking and looks like crap. I cannot afford to shell out $5000 on a "real" paint job. I used the kit, not too expensive and it held up pretty well for the whole year, the car needs to be prepped really well and does not like gas at all, so just make sure to be careful.
