It's your car, just don't ruin it.

Car had sealer on it, no filler there ! and paper thin plastic in rear quarters ( where someone bumper tested and cracked my lower section ,makes altogether three sections to re-paint ) and in doors a little only, but my stuff never gets done ! my car has cut window rubber gaskets from paint project, cause I need new ones.

Whenever I think that I'm out of my mind for putting this much time and money into an old Datsun, all I have to do is look some of your threads to know that I'm not nearly as whack as you are.

You're going to skin a few knuckles, stand up too fast and bump your head, hunt around the floor for the nuts and bolts you dropped, invent a few new cuss words and when you're finished you'll say "That wasn't so hard after all!"

Re. pwr steer hoses , I have a cust . that restores early bronco's with a Nissan pathfinder pumps ,both are inverted flare fittings 16 & 18 mm, the pressure is the 16mm I believe with a 5/16 metal line I make about 4" then I weld on a #6 AN to tube this allows infinite adj. and you use #6 straight swivel fittings on a hose to pump side another #6 weld on pump fitting, return is easier ,18mm also inverted fitting comes 5/16 ,I drill out to 3/8 flare tube and put hose clamp bulb on other side for clamps or I can weld another #6 and put swivel fittings ,I will try and post a pic of fittings.
