The craigslist site just says this:

 

All craigslist postings are free, except for:

Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted.

Paid posting accounts provide high-volume posters with additional payment options in some cases.

No article it literally says it before you try to post an ad.  Says starting April 15th $5 to post an ad.  One way to get around it is if you post it on auto parts.

Just glad it now costs money for those dicks that spam the same forklifts and new cars with every single keyword possible. 

But I am moving to other free marketplaces to sell my goods - Doesn't mean I won't buy from CL and watch it for good deals.
