paradime Posted May 4, 2015 Report Share Posted May 4, 2015 I've owned 3 Volvos, a 240D in up state NY that threw a rod two week after I bought it. A 250GL that my wife let overheat on the Bay Bridge and it seized. An s60 cross country goon that had a bearing in the transfer case seized but still spin in housing heating the rubber seal then caught the oil on fire... again on the Bay Bridge.
