4x4 flares on my 2wd

DREWSDIME

Recommended Posts

Well I wanted to do this since I got my 720 but wanted to lower it first, now that I got it lowered I finally put  stock 4x4 720 flares and put them on my 2wd. Alot of people are gonna hate , but I like the way it looks just needs moar lower. The front tires already rub when making sharp turn so maybe some smaller tires soon.

I'm not a fan of flairs. Done right you shouldn't need them. If you need them you've gone too far or you're making the vehicle fit the rims and tires. As the 4x4 came with them this is a neat way get around me hating them. Good going!!!

on topic i like the flares needs wider wheels to fill out the wells im not a fan of the whole hellaflush thing but i do think that you should capitolize on the added clearence to stuff some tire under that thing

Looks good Jeff,

but is it just me or does the front flair look like it should go on the back and the back on the front???.... I mean it looks like the front has more flair, therefore it should go out back. ....Either way it gives it a nice look and definitely different.

Who said it added clearance? I just wanted to put them on my truck. My rims do not sit flush with my fenders they stuck out thats why I wanted to put flares to see how it looked. I do plan on getting some better fitting rims to make the flares look better. I hope to get some from Dawa soon to solve that problem

Wonder what they'd look like if the flares were body-colored?  Maybe that'd be too much.  Anyway, they're in good condition and you did a quality job installing them, therefore they are cool.

I too wonder how they would look body color.  I think I'd like them better that way....

+1 for the roof rack

+2 for doing what you want

Yep my truck, my way and I get compliments everywhere I go. And me and my truck are on Nissan Global website home page. If you would read the whole thread you would find out what the flares came off of. Truck now has same rims but 15x8 and it looks much better

Truck looks great. Personally never a fan of the roof rack trend, but those flares look killer on their. Such a clean truck.

Do you have pictures of the 15x8s on there? Would love to see slightly bigger wheels under those flares.

I will post pics of the 15x8s on here when I can, still no internet at my new place. Ray I think the one of the reasons my truck got picked is because your truck was not drivable at the time...... so Thanks for that lol and yes I'm going on Sat but only as spectator I have something for soccer from 2 to 5 pm on that day

thanks Tristin its pretty clean but definately looks better from 20 ft away lol and I need some lower profile tires for my 15x8s but I'm kinda broke after moving into new place . Hopefully I can find some used 15's from my buddy I really don't want to go back to 14x7's now
