Some folks may have already seen this in my 1200 thread but I figured I'd post it here as well since I just installed the same 'kit' on the 510.

I designed and 3d printed this light socket repair 'kit', which allow you to still mount light bulbs into tail light housings with broken sockets. This kit can be installed without taking the light apart. and is composed of 3 parts. The square part fits through the housing and allows the round mounting point to thread on. You can then install an LED bulb. All of that is shown below.   So far I've tested this on a 1200 sedan and a 510. I'm assuming it would work on most tail lights that use the same light socket holder pattern.

What it looks like installed (on a 1200)

FYI, if you decide to market it, almost every Japanese car from the 70s and 80s uses this style socket/bulb holder. We just bought new light sockets for a 1200 and they were listed as 80s Honda.  😁
