4perrev
Crank case breather to under the air filter of the carb. Separates the oil vapor prior to entering the intake system. Thus reducing carbon build up. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
crank case vent hose should go to the bottom of the intake manifold to the PCV valve. If not , dealer still have hose. if where the PVC valve went to the intake manifold and you have it plugged I guess its OK. never heard of this as when it revs up the air really gets sucked in the the crank. Most just route a hose down or just leave it open if the intake PVC valve is not used. Quote Link to comment
4perrev
With ya there. There is a PVC one way valve on it so no air gets sucked into the crank or valve vent. Have this set up on my wife's Mini Cooper because of all the carbon problems they have and it has cured the problem. Quote Link to comment

I have her up for sale, as I have too many projects at this time and I would much rather have her go to somebody who can give her more love!! 2 Quote Link to comment
4perrev
Well, heavy heart, but I sold old blue this past weekend. She went to a good home back in California. She was fun and I learned a lot. Farewell little blue!! 1 1 Quote Link to comment
