My rotary = super fast, hard to start, hates the cold but REVS like a screaming little girl!

MPG = LOL, I get 10 MPG if I am lucky on a 48mm Webber set up on a ported engine

They are Reliable if you maintain all components and fluids. They like 20 weight oil and preferably synthetic.

a Rotary will be more expensive in today's $$$ world than an SR20. I don;t think you can do a Rotary under $5,000 today much like an SR20. Piston engines like the SR20 have more aftermarket parts available. Most Rotary parts are super expensive. If you gonna push 250-275 HP like me, you better have $10k ready. Good luck buddie.

sr20 swap is expensive and is going to leave your car down at least a few weeks in less you build all the parts a head of time . It took me and phill about 30-40 hourse to swap my sr20det in my 510 . and that was with out rack and pinion.

but i do get 25-30 mpg  that was with 336 in the rear end i am not sure what i am getting with the 390's.
