What brand of sound deadener did you end up using?

 

It's some ebay brand sound deadener my dad had left-over from when he was last doing interior work.

 

 

Installed a radiator from the po that's made for some v-dub, not sure if I want to run it yet though.

i got the same radiator in mine itl never go past half with a 14" fan, got a nismo thermostat as well. but your radiator seems to be a bit shorter..

 

 

only problem i have is that its a bitch to mount a FMIC because it takes up too much space.

where is the center console from?

 

PO said it's a custom fiberglass console made for the dime.

 

 

 

 

Not as productive in the afternoon/evening, as usual.

PO neglected to mention he forgot to install the exhaust gasket before mounting the engine with the header already on...

Waiting for parts has put a slight hold on the build.

 

Found a pathfinder upper coolant neck that should work much better than the 300zx one and a power transistor & coil pack out of a stanza that I am going to try to wire into the 300zx harness since PO didn't include a power transistor. Was also able to find a few other missing parts out at a local junkyard.

Also took care of some surface rust in the bay and freshened up the motor a little.  Due to time constraints I can't tear down the engine anymore than it is now.

Nearly ready to go back in.  Wiring is basically complete, need to plumb fuel, build/have built exhaust, and cut driveshaft

Looking like I might also have time to install my a series cam in my l28et before it's time to back to school so switched the 240 with my bike... sadly 60>13mpg
