It's some ebay brand sound deadener my dad had left-over from when he was last doing interior work. Installed a radiator from the po that's made for some v-dub, not sure if I want to run it yet though. Quote Link to comment

Big_E-Dog Posted July 23, 2013 Report Share Posted July 23, 2013 i got the same radiator in mine itl never go past half with a 14" fan, got a nismo thermostat as well. but your radiator seems to be a bit shorter.. only problem i have is that its a bitch to mount a FMIC because it takes up too much space. Not as productive in the afternoon/evening, as usual. Intake piping made out of scrap parts PO neglected to mention he forgot to install the exhaust gasket before mounting the engine with the header already on... 1 Quote Link to comment

Found a pathfinder upper coolant neck that should work much better than the 300zx one and a power transistor & coil pack out of a stanza that I am going to try to wire into the 300zx harness since PO didn't include a power transistor. Was also able to find a few other missing parts out at a local junkyard. Also took care of some surface rust in the bay and freshened up the motor a little. Due to time constraints I can't tear down the engine anymore than it is now. Quote Link to comment
iwayman Posted August 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 Completed the brake system, I believe 300zx rotors and calipers (definitely not stock) and typical rear disc conversion with maxima caliper with drilled/slotted rotors. New rear wheel bearings & seals and wheel grease. Quote Link to comment

Wiring is basically complete, need to plumb fuel, build/have built exhaust, and cut driveshaft Looking like I might also have time to install my a series cam in my l28et before it's time to back to school so switched the 240 with my bike... sadly 60>13mpg Quote Link to comment
