Dropping in the motor.. Never went so smoothly! Since i have built the car up with this setup before everything dropped right into place and fit like a glove.

I got a bunch done recently, havent been taking a whole bunch of pictures along the way though

While I had the shop space over the weekend i finished hooking up the fuel system and mounting the swirl pot in engine bay.

I got a huge assortment of stainless metric hex hardware, i am replacing every bolt i can on the whole car with new stainless i had started with the doors (shown in my other thread) but decided to do the same on the entire car .. A lot of extra work tapping all the holes but i think the end result will be worth it.

I had to trailer it back home before i had a chance to get the radiator and intercooler mounted up and plumbed. but had to make room for the customer cars for the week...

Once it was back home though I managed to get everything installed and wired up in the engine bay and installed the front end parts / tail lights / bumbers .. starting to look like a car again!

I also removed the drivers side front suspension to redo the undercoating in the front well there was a good amount of overspray under there .. and all over my coilovers

While i had the coilover out cleaning it up i decided to try swapping out the adjustment bolts on the top with a low pro button head.. this allows for much more adjustment without having to cut up the top of the strut tower

Also installed the rear speakers / sub and dynomat the rear shelf

what are you running for management?

you have to be running a map since you have no maf unless you are running it like topher as a blow through.

I'm running an AEM EMS stand alone that runs a map / ait with the AEM UEGO wideband. It's worked out well so far, I'm getting better with understanding the software, a lot of cool stuff you can do with it.

Hopefully one of these days soon I'll get home from work before dark and snap some more pics, I'll get a side shot for ya Johnny :)

Thanks for the comments everyone!!

Back on the road again!!

My buddy shot this pic of me mobbin down to the glass shop to get the rest of my windows put in. I had a hell of a time with the quarter window glass seals so i decided to let the pro's handle it. I had the windshield in but that was it.  No exhaust yet though so a little 2 loud for my liking

Gorgeous build up!  How much would one of those Blu808 turbo manifolds set me back?

Thanks! The cost of the manifold really depends on how crazy you want to go with it.. They are all one off custom made to order. Craftmanship is second to none .. Tig Welded 304 Stainless ..

I can connect you with my buddy Luke who makes them if you want more info on getting one built.. just shoot me a PM

To give you an idea .. mine started off like this

Turned into this ...

So not much of an update but thought it was something worth sharing.. I recently picked up up the SSR mesh that are on the car and restored them.. They came with 6 center caps but they are in pretty rough shape. I have some graphic design beackground so I thought id take a stab at making some new stickers for the center caps..

Bought the wheels in this condition...

FFEFBAAA-B612-4AC9-B86F-B47307A38FE2-316

Restored them to look like this

CA139E6B-CB2C-471C-B017-80B2757B67BF-223

734FD035-4064-45AC-AAF4-E8E481BA3FDE-223

So tonight I designed a replica of the SSR center cap logo in illustrator, made sure they are the correct scale. Then printed them up on aluminum Decal sheet

Here is one i cut out compared to the original ... I dont have my vinyl cutter set up at the moment so the cutter I used made a mark in the center... but just wanted to test it out.. think they turned out pretty good, might adjust the outside circle to be a bit thinner.. they look a lot better in person my cell phone camera kind of washes em out.
