I wouldn't mind seeing some rain over here.... we just went through a streak of 100+ degree weather.

Greg

I got to work in New Orleans yesterday at 2:30 and iT poored. They had flooding all over as it does a lot down here. Wouldn't want my 510 in that stuff. I guess that's the coust of living off the Gulf. I wish i could send ya some of it.

Took off carb, air cleaner, distributor, and coil off the Goon.

Need to return them to the rightful owner, the 70 2 door I got from a little old lady way back.

Gotta get the gas tank ready to go back in and get her fired up again, she runs real good and she feels so much tighter than the others cause the low miles and she would go so slow when I saw her around back then.

Wow that 2 door looks good from here. That door is a easy fix.

It runs fine I just have to put the gas tank back in it. Then take back the few parts I used to get the Goon going to drive it to the house and put them back on the old girl. She is a sweet ride all original 1 owner befor me.

I've been testing the reliability of my wag & it seems to be holding up.. I literally have to "drive" this little goon... it's a little rough on the bumps, wants to go into grooves on the road & the wind throws me around, but I love driving it..

It's about 30 mi. into town or to work from the mountains where I live and the goon seems to handle the roads with ease. There's always something to do to it, keeps me busy.

If you get some camber plates you can turn them 120 degrees and dial in more caster (and some camber) and it will help with that groove following, should you care enough to want to do something about it.

But it will also make the steering heavier so there's also that.

I want to lower it a little & put in some camber plates & strut bar. I'll check into that.. I would love to dial that in.

Thanks Lockleaf!

What struts do you have? Swapping to 280ZX struts will help with that also. As well as help lower it.

I have 280z struts that were cut down for the 510 but is missing a few things. I think I need top hats & camber plates. I'll post a pic tomorrow (I'm at wrk right now) of what I got... you'll probably know right away what I'm missing.

Thanks, Greg

Just picked up my 72 510... traded for my 72 521! (still have my 72 510 2dr)---> ALMOST had the trifecta..

4 wheel disc, and came with a KA24E swap set up.
