Need some info, what is the length of the two hoses that connect from the gas tank to the elbow connection that go's up to the plastic return canister. I know there are two hoses but not sure of the correct length's. Gotta get this gas tank back in here soon. I now have gas resistance hose for it. Any help would be appreciated.

If I get a chance tomorrow, I get under there & look.

Sooo... What's up with that Nova?   ^_^

It's going through a full restoration. Getting ready to put it on a rotisserie, you can barely see the rotisserie in the pic. I have a dse subframe for it(which cost me 8k with accessories), ls2 with ls3 heads, wiring, fi gas tank etc.. I just need time..& of course some more $$. I've had it for a long time..64 ss, factory v8 & 4 spd car. I want it turn key, fuel injected & reliable now. ;)

I have a refub ebay one and cathedral port adapters just waiting to be plopped on to my ext :)

Its damn near plug and play, so why not!

If I didn't have so many projects it would of probably have been finished already & have some killer parts like you do...the way I want it too... I just can't find myself to sell some of the cars I recently picked up, I know I would regret it.. so my obsession with classic cars has me in the situation I'm in.. so progress is slow..

I have am instagram account just for my cars. Redrumlscarjunkie I have my projects on there ;)

Greg, if time permits and you get a chance check those measurements on those hoses.

Thanks and those are some very nice cars. My brouther had got a 62 Impala SS back around 1971 and it was gold on the outside with a white hardtop and white interior. 3 on the tree, 327. It was beautiful till he wrecked the shit out of it. I miss that car. Back then you could have a learners permit at 14 and drive till about 11pm on it. If you hade your 15 year old friend who had a drivers license with you you could drive all night.

I got under there to look, I can only see one hose & its hard to get a measurement because it goes toward the drivers side & loops back towards the tank. That particular hose looks to be at least 30" long. The other I can't see, it's on top of the tank.

Sorry man... I could of answered that question when I put the tank on, I just can't remember.

Look what I found inside a 610 I purchased... the elusive factory 510 wagon locking gas cap.. I was stoked!

Greg

Great find Greg!

Question for you...& anyone else that has one of these rare pieces...does it fit snuggly & securely? When I've put mine on, it seems like you could wiggle it off if you really tried. I remember a few years back that some turd stole one off someone's Dime at the Eagle Rock meet.

Thanks,

Angela

I heard there is an earlier year gas cap & a later one. The inside diameter where it goes in and locks, one is bigger than the other. If yours is loose you might have the earlier year factory locking gas cap. You would have to swap out the neck to an earlier neck.

I know the wagon caps are particularly to the wagons as the 510 (non wagons) are smaller. The outside overall diameter.

I've been known to be wrong sometimes but that's what I gathered. :)

I should soon get the Goon in this small garage out of the rain and weather soon. IMG_2614.jpgIMG_2843.jpg

I wouldn't mind seeing some rain over here.... we just went through a streak of 100+ degree weather.
