Believe me, I've done several projects, and as they say, patience is a virtue. It can certainly be trying to keep interest going. Baby steps, and track your progress.

yup the most frustrating part is that I have to travel and I´m gonna be away for 4 months or so, I really want to drive the car before I leave but at this rate I don´t know if it´s gonna be possible which sucks. This weekend we took the dash off and gues what I found !... more freaking rust ! the owner of the body shop was thinking about charging me more and I was like dude don´t have a penny to spend thanksfully t wasn´t that much but for a second I thought wel I´m fucked lol  here are some pics of the progress

Looks good. You can't put too much insulation or sound deadening if you really want comfort and some sort of quiet. We all know they're a bit loud and " tinny" from the factory. I really insulated and dyna matted the rear quarters of mine. I was feeling back there on Tuesday and discovered a very bad wreck repair,. So deeper I went, but fixed it the right way, and back on track....it never ends sometimes ( to think it all started with a dirty engine compartment...)

Aweeeeesome you insulated the crap out of the car lol  hey guys  does anybody know if I can still get the original paint if I have the paint code? cuz I think I have it : Nissan regal red metallic,MFR code 926, Du pont k8021   I don´t know if it´s a silly question but I know little about paint and paint codes

You certainly can, just find an actual auto paint store, they'll be able to cross it, or you can just bring in a gas cap cover or whatever and they can " gun it" and match it. If you're not sure about painting i suggest " one step"( clear and color together) if not most paint now is " base coat, then clear coat". Good luck feel free to ask any questions on that, that's one of my funnest classes, I'll post pics of my paint color soon, super cool phase shifting, custom mixed white/purple...good luck on the paint, put LOTS on ( then you can fix any problems) and don't rush it, good paint is 95% prep work...

well prep work is infinite i´ll be posting more pics of rust repairs tomorrow lol the good thing is that the only  thing that I have to remove now is the sound dampening material that is under the seats I´m crossing my fingers to don´t find rust there :/ I got a sample using the paint code and fuck it, it doesn´t match the paint , the nissan regal metalic red is way darker. I know that the car hasn´t been resprayed and I´m comparing it against paint that was cover by the rubbers so there is no chance that the sun has deteriorated it   so I´m torn between what it´s supposed to be the original paint and the actual paint in the car

See if you can find an original paint book, OR a piece big enough for them to use a "UV LIGHT GUN" on. Good paint store can match it based on a sample piece... certainly close enough for a complete job.

well I found that code online but it`s period correct so unless they had an specific colour for the south america market I can`t think of any other explanation, yup there is enough good paint to get a match but I dont know if I should go with that or stick to the code, does anybody know if there is something a biit lighter than the nissan regal metallc red ?  cuz I didn`t find anything  like that  :crying:

Ted added to a Facebook A10 group where the one of the admins asked if a 620 pedal box would fit an A10...

Probably, BUT it's nice to see project progress, especially on weeks I haven't made any myself that week(s). It has also been a good resource for him and I during questions. Just my two cents worth. I personally don't check the build threads, almost nothing on A-10's.

my bad I got a bit carried away ...Maybe a lot lol I do follow the built threads and I don't remember seing any A10 built,at least not in the first pages, let alone a wagon ( sucker for the wagons here !  love Duncan's built ) well I'm in the states now so I dont think I'm gonna be able to get enough pics to open a built thread and keep it interesting I did went to pick up the car from the bodyshop and took some good pics
