A10's U-nite !!!!

Recommended Posts

For what it's worth, it only does that on mine every once in awhile.

Checks some posts from 6-8 months ago, maybe 90% of the pics still worked...

That´s good enough for me. Well I wish I could get 280zx´s parts but here the Z´s are unicorns, so it would be more epensive if not impossible to get them, the only used alternative that I had on hand were R32 front breaks but there was just 100 bucks difference between the wilwood and those so I rather have the new disc and pads for a 100bucks more!

Well, currently we don't know where "here" is, so that might influence our recommendations.   ^_^

In case that was too subtle, you should really fill in your location.   :P

they are15x8 offset 0  with 205/50 TW 280  I wanted something with negative offset but I wasn´t able find them

19787442_1361573207230002_73096176260540Usually I wouldn´t buy chinese wheels but everybody use them in the shop and they do autocross and drifting so ... it would do for the moment, now I can test clearance ( hope I dont have to roll the fenders )

Depending on the method used it not just lowers the car, it does it by shortening the "travel" of the suspension ( done lots, not the best way to lower a vehicle though). The best ways don't screw with geometry or travel. Usually the formula is-- cheapest and fastest= worst ( not always, but generally). Good works not cheap, cheap works not good!

cuz the stretch ? the ideal rims were supposed to be 15x7 or 15x7.5 to get the right fitment

No, it's cause that's a massive wheel / tire combo for a B210. It'll has huge tire poke, and will rub like a bitch

I see very little stretch if any. Those tires are huge/tall.

My 195/65s on 8 inch wheels are lower profile than those pictured.

You've got no room to tuck. Your offset looks like those will be a 1/4" to 1/2" of poke.

I had a 15x7 +0 on mine, 195/50-15s (skinnier than yours), rolled fenders, 280ZX struts up front to narrow the track (which you don't have) and it was still a somewhat tight fit.

I'm pretty confident in saying you will have either some poke up front, or you will be buying fender flares soon, or you will be selling those wheels.  B)

Shorter shocks can't lower car ,,, that's not what they do.

Well, yeah.. They can. but it's so fucking wrong.

Shorter shocks will infact lower a car, but it's worse that fucking your sister and having her call you daddy.

The reason shorter shocks can lower a car is that you over-compress the spring due to the shorter length of the shock at full extend.....

....it's a terrible idea. Why would anyone ever think of this?

A shorter shock at full extension against the compressed spring means that if you go over a hump in the road the wheel cannot drop to follow the down side of the bump. You don't have to be going fast for the wheel to leave the ground. Try that going around a corner... but not while I'm on the same road!

^^^^ that roadside stance, though... all hard parked and shit.

Nice stance indeed, well if you ( Datsunfreak) had problems with 195/50 there is no way I´m getting away with murder maybe if I dont touch the suspension and I ride it like a pick up lol I wonder if this does the trick  : 19366563_1755732954442156_49091130208466

Btw after you put the ka24 in, what was your biggest problem with handling ?  the nose was to heavy ? too little chasis rigidity ?  too nervous because of the short wheelbase?  the sedan has the same wheelbase as the wagon ?
