New favorite jack

Been looking for a another jack that was medium size with good lift and saw this one from Harbor Freight with coupon for $70 so I picked it up. Has a low 2.75" starting point with long lifting arm so it doesn't drag the lifting point as bad as the smaller jacks and a wide foot print. Don't think I will use my big jack on a regular size car again. There are better, cooler, lighter jacks but probably not for $70.

Nice looking jack, good price. I hope it lasts you a long time. For me I find the cheaper price always dictates a much shorter life. Eventually the valve starts leaking either externally or internally letting the jack drop slightly but more and more over time. I actually had to return a craftsman for it once.

I use this one, the 1st I had to retun but the one I have now has been taking abuse without complaint for a good 3 years now. Yes it also costs much more lol. Its aluminum though too so....

My jack is the same jack my dad had when I was 4 and I tried to lift our suburban. I had to hang on the handle to get it to move. Jack still works today more than 20 years later, without ever dropping a hair overnight or anything. Just some random jack Costco had back then. Its a bit slow, and its not low profile, but it works.
