Whats the story on bumper ends?

I'd like to replace the rubber bumper ends on my '78. Is there any source for these other than keeping a constant watch on CL or Ebay?

Smaller bumpers all together would be desired, but dressing up the existing bumpers is probably easier and cheaper.

Thanks.

Nissan might still sell them. They have some parts older the B210 still.

But it's dressing up a poor bumper. Instead of paying $100 for two bumper ends, just buy a small bumper off eBay worldwide.

am sure they don't have anything past 1980 something or atleast this dealership in my area. they didn't have record for 1980 210

For what it's worth!  I made end caps for my daughter's Toyota 4x4 pickup by cutting up Kitty Litter plastic jugs, painting them flat black and bolting to the existing mounting holes.  Flimsy, but a visual "maybe OK."

A lot of the parts guys at the Nissan dealership are freaking lazy arses! There's still quite a bit of NOS 210 parts. B210 I have no idea but I've gotten all kinds of 210 parts. I have a parts guy who actually loves trying to find the stuff....he used to have a 510. Just have to keep trying different dealers until you find one willing to do their damn job.

They're full of shit and too lazy to look. When I started my resto 2 years ago I went to San Bernardino Nissan and asked for a part and the dude didn't even bother to look. He just said we don't have those parts :sneaky: I called up another Nissan in West Covina I think. He pretended to look. Next one, Universal Nissan, dude found the part. The very same one the first fool said they didn't have. Fucker!

Vallejo Nissan parts guys are old school and are used to working Rebello Racing. Very helpful and don't mind looking up parts. They regularly find parts for me from the factory, bring them in to their location at no charge and then I pay over the phone once they get the total with the shipping cost from them to me and send it out. Sometimes takes a little longer, but the convenience is worth it if you have the time, especially if no one else is helpful....
