izzo
Where did you get that one? I ordered one some time back and it wasn't quite the same length I think. It didn't block the tensioner for shit! Ended up having to basically start over from scratch. Sucked. Ended up throwing it away as it was of no use to me. Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
got it on egay for like $5 http://www.ebay.com/itm/271039815836?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
Head gasket isn't completely blown but I think I see signs of mixing fluids/blow by Bottom of the gasket Top of the gasket Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
The new head is back from the machine shop Waiting on the new water pump, I picked up a NOS Nissan pump cus I hate the aftermarket crap that's out there and I only wanna do this once to this truck Then i gotta clean the block surface and clean out the head bolt holes and it can start to go back together Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
CLOSED CHAPMER HEAD i SEE I like those timming chain tools. I bought about 10 of them gave most away. 5$ a pc I like it you could feel as it pushed the tensioner back in on the bottom. when you put the sprock back on you can rotate the cam slightly so it induces a little slop to one side to get it on the dowel. usually turn cam to the right 1 Link to comment

Laecaon
FYI on future Gasket kits. Baxters sells the kit (its actually upper and lower seperate) for a total of 53$ for Fel-Pro. They tend to sell gaskets are really cheap prices I find. Link to comment
