Hi Ratsuns! Like most of everyone that's not registered yet, I've lurked on here for over 2 years now. Finally, picked up a 521 from a member here last year. Some of you may remember this small block v8 truck from the ad.

Brought her home here:

And here she was at the JCCS 2012 over the weekend:

Met a lot of great Datsun owners at the show and it has brought me to finally register here and become part of the family. I hope to learn and exchange ideas/parts from the lots of you here.

Welcome to Ratsun B)

Nice 521, not many V8 521s around.

Wish you were closer, as I have a lot of questions, do you have a functioning heater/defroster?

If you do, is it stock?

Thanks for the welcome.

The heater works. There's a unit right below the glove compartment dash that let's you turn off or on. The knob is missing, but it turns. I'm not sure if it's stock, as it has a "Nichiro" label on it. Maybe someone can verify this.

Even has a cool "wiper delay control", that delays the slow wiper even more...lol.

Welcome!! Where did you get the eyelids for the headlights?? I like them!

Thanks.

Eyelids were from a local vintage Chevy/Ford Truck shop. They fit snuggly and tight. Very firm lids and not flimsy like some out there.
