VG30 Complete Carb Conversion Kit (w/ video)

I've got a complete carb conversion kit for sale from my 89 Z31 300zx race car. This kit will allow you to retrofit a carb to the VG30/VG33 of your choice. Great for VG30 510 conversion as well as any other vehicle you wish to drop one in, simple wiring makes setup a snap. I sort of pieced this together as a goof to see if it would work. As it turns out it works great, go figure! I'm parting car out so that's the reason for sale, realize that I'll never go racing and a not street legal racecar taking up precious space is of no use to me. Kit consists of the following:

Super rare carb lower intake manifold which has been ported & polished (NOT a modded VG30i manifold, possibly Nismo?)

custom modified 1" phenolic adapter spacer

New Holley Performance 350CFM 2 bbl carb

low-rise filter assy (not pictured)

Modified GM(!) distributor (grafted & machined a Z31 lower to a GM 2.8 V6 upper)

GM HEI ign module (new)

new ign wires (quality aftermarket but not performance)

MSD coil

misc wiring & carb

Just FYI: That is a VG30S intake manifold from a factory carbureted VG. They used a really weird electronic two barrel with the throttle shaft running parallel to the crank. The VG30S was produced into the early '90s. Nissan Motorsports offered these intakes for a number of years but the last I heard they were NLA. The Pro-Six racing series used them before switching to the modified TBI intakes that I produce.

Thanks for that info, none of the VG geeks over at Z31performance could identify it. Also would like to thank you for your products for our generally unloved and unsupported motors, some of the money from this sale will be going towards a crank pulley adapter. And additionally I got the idea for the 350CFM 2 bbl from your website, was leaning towards a 390 CFM 4 bbl.

I'm forcing a vg30 into my 65 L320. I have an adapter for a weber carb, but I am having a problem with the dizzy. Did you do the mod on your HEI? Would you be willing to sell just the dizzy? I'm not sure that huge cap will fit under the hood; I'm going to measure it today. If you have any info on that mod, I'd really appreciate it.
