Found a shop to install headliner in EPA CA

James dropped my car off last night so I started calling this morning.

Got a hold of 4 shops in the area.

Quotes I got were $400-$760

Was hoping someone might know of a place that would do it for a bit less.

I would attempt to do it myself but I barely have time in the day, Money is tight but time is non existant!

The glass is out,

old headliner is out with the rods still in it to preserve the order,

the welting molding is out,

got the new ebay headliner.

If the things above weren't done, I would be looking at 1k+

Any help would be much apreciated

I'm in the exact same boat as you. However, I have a lead on a mobil interior guy whose work I have seen and it looked great!

I have not called him to get a quote yet, but I will get on that and get back to this thread as soon as I hear from him. Where in the Bay are you specifically? He's in Benicia.

Best,

C

It's done and done really well. I'm stoked as this is my first new one.

He was recommended by the guy who did my motor and rack n pinion.

The man does it at his house in east palo alto.

Starts at 180, what I paid. If you want him to make the headliner, take the glass out, etc, the

the price goes up. More pics to come when I get to a computer. Tough to type on aniPhone

Nice find!

I'm still waiting for the guy I know to get back to me. Palo Alto is a long way me be to drive a car without windows!

I drove my car with just the windshield in all the way to the Kreeper's house, 3.5 hours.

You can always take it off there and have a mobile glass guy come out and slap it back in when the headliner's installed.

What are you using for windshied gasket?
