Nelsontr Posted May 31, 2012 Report Share Posted May 31, 2012 I am building up my emissions to go through DEQ and would like to get a replacement BPTV so i can get my EGR working again. I know a lot of people like to take this emissions stuff off, im just hoping someone held on to it. I have found a BPTV that is available from nissanpartszone (http://www.nissanpar...4741-u8400.html) but this is for a 310 but the same a14 engine, would this be a suitable replacement? Im pretty sure this is not an exact diagram of what i need but this shows what the BPTV should look like. Link to comment

ggzilla Posted June 1, 2012 Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 Ah, mine is a 1981-1982 V.V.T. valve. It looks the same but apparently works differently. For a 1979-1980, there are two different B.P.T. valves: * FED * FED KFU (5-speed Coupe) They come in either Atsugi or Hitachi brand, which problably doesn't matter. For a 2-dr, part number 14741-24F10 should work. Link to comment
Nelsontr Posted June 1, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 The Nissan Parts website i found (nissanpartszone) does not cover 210s but they do cover 310/310GX in the correct year... from what i have heard, the same car was titled as a b310 and a 210. would these parts do the same job on the a14 motor meant for a different body style?
